Continuing the trend of Phoenix-based firms taking advantage of the down economy in order to open up California offices, Lewis & Roca has announced it is opening a small outpost in Mountain View. They have managed to snap up several attorneys from White & Case - all of whom specialize in Intellectual Property.
The move follows Snell & Wilmer opening a new L.A. office in January - their second California office. For Lewis & Roca, it is their first office in California and comes at a time when some smaller regional firms are looking to expand by picking up some underutilized talent from larger firms.
